PRPP M REXANT wire is reassigned for telephone communication and radio broadcasting. It is used in subscriber telephone lines and wired broadcasting distribution networks, as well as in railway wired broadcasting networks. It is laid in the ground, telephone sewers, collectors, as well as along building walls or on overhead line supports not subject to heavy icing and winds. Current-carrying cores, with a diameter of 0.90 mm, are made of copper and are in polyethylene insulation. The outer sheath is also made of polyethylene. Electrical resistance of the current-carrying core is no more than 28.4 Ohm/km. Designed for operation at voltages up to 380 V with a frequency up to 10 kHz. Supplied in a 500 m coil. Service life is 10 years. Decoding: P – Wire, R – For radio broadcasting, P – Polyethylene insulation, P – Polyethylene sheath, M – Copper single-wire cores.
