Vinyl-sheathed connection wire (PVS) is intended for connecting electrical appliances, power tools, and household appliances to the electrical network. It is used for organizing lighting networks and manufacturing extension cords. Multi-strand cable conductors are made of copper and have a round shape. The twisting of the conductors is performed without the use of a filler. Each conductor is covered with PVC plastic insulation. Conductors are twisted together. The outer sheath of the cable is also made of PVC plastic, applied with filling of the voids between the conductors, which gives the cable a round shape and increases strength. Installation must be carried out at a temperature no lower than -15 °C. Maximum continuous allowable operating temperature of the conductors is +70 °C.
