Ballu BHDP-100 Tundra series direct combustion diesel air heater is designed for heating non-residential premises and local heating of working surfaces. The thermal capacity of the device is 100kW. When the diesel gun is operating, the airflow passing through the protective grille is drawn into the combustion chamber. There, it mixes with diesel fuel atomized by the nozzle, which is supplied from the fuel tank using a powerful high-pressure pump, forming an air-fuel mixture. Using 12kV electrodes, the mixture is ignited and burned, and then expelled outwards, mixing with combustion products and the main mass of incoming air, thereby heating it. A heat shield located in the front end of the device body serves as a barrier for escaping open flames and ensures uniform heating of the room or the heated working surface. A high-precision thermostat built into the heater with convenient and intuitive adjustment in autonomous mode maintains the set temperature. The safety of using the Ballu BHDP-100 Tundra series diesel heat gun is ensured by an electronic control board using a temperature sensor and a photocell that monitors the presence of flame – it stops the device in case of an emergency. The diesel fuel volume is measured by a level sensor and displayed on the indicator built into the fuel tank.
