Ballu BHDN-50 Tundra series indirect diesel heat gun is a powerful heat generator used for heating residential and non-residential premises, or for local heating of working surfaces. Air from the room is drawn into the housing by a fan located at the base of the gun; partially entering the heat exchanger burner, which serves as the combustion chamber, it mixes with diesel fuel sprayed by the nozzle, forming an air-fuel mixture that is automatically ignited via 12kV electrodes. The heated air, along with combustion products, passes through the heat exchanger and is expelled through the chimney located at the top of the gun housing. The rest of the air volume flows around the heat exchanger, heats up, and is expelled into the heated room without mixing with the combustion products. Fuel from the fuel tank is supplied to the nozzle by a high-performance Danfoss fuel pump. The electronic control board monitors the combustion process using temperature and photo sensors and shuts down the gun in case of flame absence, power supply failure, triggering of the adjustment thermostat, or an emergency situation. The fan continues to operate for some time after the gun is turned off, cooling the combustion chamber and the heat exchanger housing, thereby preventing deformation of the heat exchanger. A diesel fuel level indicator is integrated into the fuel tank housing. The air filter together with the fuel filter will extend the nozzle life and ensure uninterrupted operation, provided high-quality diesel fuel is used. The double-sided anti-corrosion coating of the air heater housing will maintain an excellent appearance throughout the entire service life of the product. The Ballu BHDN-50 Tundra series diesel heat gun housing features special stiffening ribs on the casing and additional support, preventing deformation and maintaining the geometry required for the heat generator's operation throughout its service life.
