Independent shunt trip, an additional assembly unit, is suitable for use with OptiMat E100REG and OptiMat E250REG type circuit breakers and provides switching of the circuit breaker when single-phase AC or DC voltage is applied to its coil terminals. The independent shunt trip has a built-in contact that disconnects power from the coil after the independent shunt trip operates.
