"RAM block" is a system of universal metal enclosures – welded and assembled, as well as control stands. Automation, monitoring, control, and relay protection equipment is placed inside the cabinets. Cabinets reliably protect the devices placed inside from external influences. Enclosures are made of durable steel with a thickness of 1.2 – 1.5 mm. This allows for the placement of heavy equipment inside and provides an IK 10 impact resistance rating. Doors are made of metal with a thickness of 1.5 – 2 mm. The inside of the door is coated with polyurethane foam, which improves sealing quality. The folded edge of the enclosure prevents moisture and debris from entering the cabinet interior, and production holes have special plugs, achieving an IP 65/IP 66 enclosure rating for dust and water protection. A three-stage automated painting system provides the enclosures with a durable coating resistant to chipping and scratches. Accessories allow for the creation of complex individual solutions based on basic components. Various accessories included in the system are used for partitioning, such as horizontal dividers. If dividers are not mounted for the full depth, additional vertical supports are used. The divider is used with cabinets 445 mm deep and 800 mm wide.
