REXANT 2.1x5.5 power jack socket with quick-clamp terminal (blister) is designed for rapid connection of various equipment (video surveillance systems, power for chargers or other household devices) to a 12/24V (DC) constant current power source. This two-pin socket is mounted on a cable without any tools using spring-loaded clamps and connects to a power plug. This mounting method is significantly simpler and faster than soldering, while its reliability and connection quality remain consistently high. Nickel plating of the contacts increases the connector's durability and allows for use in varying climatic conditions. The straight-type connector has dimensions of 2.1x5.5mm. The housing is made of impact-resistant plastic. Installation is possible with different types of cables: SHVVP, combined wire, or twisted pair.
Operating temperature range from -30° to +50°. The socket is used to connect a wire in case of a break or replacement of faulty connectors on a cord and is suitable for standard backup power sources (DC).
