Insulated flat "plug/socket" connectors are used to create a necessary universal quick-disconnect connection at the ends of multi-strand flexible copper conductors, allowing for rapid or frequent switching. The use of insulated connectors improves contact quality at the connection point and maintains the integrity of the conductor itself, ensuring the connection remains stable over a long period. Design features: • The design of the RpIp "plug" insulated flat connectors features a hole in the contact part for a lock-type fastener, allowing for a secure mechanical connection with the RpIm "socket" connector. • Transverse notches on the inner surface of the tube part of the connectors increase the mechanical strength of the connection with the conductor. • Crimping of the conductor is performed over the insulating sleeve. • Each wire cross-section corresponds to a specific sleeve color: 0.2-1.5 mm2 – red, 1.0-2.5 mm2 – blue, 2.5-6.0 mm2 – yellow. • Contact part material: L63 brass, electrolytic tin-plated. Sleeve material: PVC with flame retardants, non-flammable.
