Low-voltage valve arrester RVN-1 U1 is designed to provide protection against atmospheric overvoltages of the insulation of AC electrical equipment with a frequency of 50/60Hz. Suitable for networks with any neutral grounding system. The product complies with TU 16-92, as well as IVEZ. 674321.011 TU. The arrester can be operated in tropical and temperate climates within temperatures of -45 to +40 degrees Celsius (U1). Installation height above sea level should not exceed 1000m, relative air humidity — up to 100% at a temperature of +25 degrees Celsius. Structurally, the product consists of a single spark gap and a non-linear working resistor made of special "Vilit" mass. The arrester has a non-linear voltage-current characteristic. The spark gap is formed by two brass shaped electrodes separated by an insulating gasket and a closed porcelain cover. Technical characteristics: • voltage — 0.66kV; • rated voltage — 1kV; • breakdown voltage — 2.1-2.8kV; • rated discharge current — 1kA.
