"RT" series temperature controller DIN-rail mounting. For monitoring and maintaining a set temperature mode by switching a heating/cooling unit on/off based on signals from an external temperature sensor. Depending on the task, the control device (heater or cooler) is connected to specific output relay contacts. When the temperature set on the device panel is reached, the heater (cooler) is switched off. For example, in heating mode, if the temperature in the controlled zone drops below the setpoint, the control relay contacts close and the heater turns on. Upon reaching the set temperature, the control relay contacts open and the heater turns off. When the temperature drops by the set hysteresis value, the relay contacts close and the heater turns on again. The operating principle is similar for the cooling case.
