RTI series thermal overload relays are electrical switching devices with their own power consumption. RTI series thermal overload relays are designed to protect electric motors from overload, phase asymmetry, stalled start, and rotor jamming. They are installed directly on KMI series contactors. Fuses or circuit breakers with an appropriate rated trip current must be provided for short-circuit protection.
