RTT-3, RTT-4 series current thermal overload relays are designed to protect three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors from overcurrents of unacceptable duration, including those caused by the loss of one phase. The relays are intended for use as components in electric drive control circuits in AC circuits with a voltage up to 660V at a frequency of 50 or 60Hz, and in DC circuits with a voltage of 440V. RTT-3 and RTT-4 series relays feature temperature compensation. Relays are installed on PM-12, PM12-EK (CJ-40) contactors with rated currents up to 250A.
