Designed for introducing wires and cables into electrical switchgear to protect conductors from mechanical damage and protect the assembly itself from the penetration of dust and moisture at the entry point.
The cable gland consists of a body (1), a seal (2), a sealing nut (3), a washer (4), and a locking nut (5).
The seal and washer are made of neoprene.
The body, sealing nut, and locking nut are made of nickel-plated brass. The cable gland is installed using a pipe (gas) wrench.
