Universal self-tapping screws are used for fastening materials to wood, chipboard, plastics, and thin metals, and can be used with plastic dowels for installation in concrete or brick. They feature a medium thread pitch, allowing them to work with both wood and metal sheets. The special tip and thread shape ensure fast, reliable, and easy screwing. Types of universal screws depending on the material and coating type: • galvanized – made of carbon steel with zinc coating; • yellow screws – made of carbon steel with yellow zinc coating. Galvanized screws are protected against moisture and can be used for both interior and exterior finishing work. Screws easily penetrate metal up to 0.9 mm thick, plastics, wood boards, fiberboard, and other non-hard materials. Pre-drilling of holes will be required for sheet metal thickness from 0.9 to 6 mm.
