SHTOK CI-150 06009 stripping device is designed for stripping insulation from power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation with a diameter from 90 to 150 mm. The tool allows for simultaneous insulation cutting with both blades, in both radial and axial directions. Using an adjustment screw and a holder, the corresponding cutting blade is secured for axial (polyethylene removal) or radial (semiconductive layer removal) cutting, by embedding it into the cable insulation material to the required depth. For high-quality cutting and to extend blade life, it is recommended to set the thickness of the removed polyethylene layer to 1 mm.
