Insulated busbars of the ShNI type are designed for the electrical and mechanical connection of neutral, protective, and phase conductors. Structurally, ShNI busbars are made of a brass busbar mounted on or in an insulator made of self-extinguishing plastic. Normal operating conditions for the busbars are: - ambient temperature from –40 to +50 C; - average relative humidity not more than 90%. Nickel-plated busbars possess higher corrosion resistance of the material and an attractive appearance, which enables their use in highly aggressive environments.
