Busbars "Comb" are current-carrying plates made of copper, secured in a housing made of dielectric material. They are used in intra-panel mounting to supply power to specific poles and phases to modular network protection devices (circuit breakers, residual current devices, RCDs, load break switches) by connecting them in parallel. Busbars with an 18 mm pitch are designed for switching devices with a width that is a multiple of one module. They are an alternative to wire jumpers and allow: - reducing the number of conductors in the panel to a minimum, - saving space and easily placing new elements, - ensuring a more stable and durable connection due to the solid current-carrying part and individual connection of each device to the busbar through only one conductor (busbar contact). When cutting the busbar to the required size, the use of end caps is mandatory.
