The LPP-CSVT luminaire housing is made of ABS plastic. ABS plastic has high rigidity (modulus of elasticity is 2000-2700 MPa) and resistance to impact loads. The ballast equipment (ECG - CIMEX model) is mounted on a removable metal plate. The luminaire is equipped with a transparent cover made of SAN polymer plastic. The cover is attached to the luminaire housing with plastic clips. Styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) has high rigidity (tensile strength is 65-85 MPa) and better impact resistance compared to polystyrene (PS). Polystyrene, compared to PC and SAN, is a less rigid (tensile strength is 40-65 MPa) and very brittle material. Therefore, unlike other manufacturers, CSVT does not use polystyrene (PS) in the production of its luminaires.
