Purpose VELAN-02 series general industrial LED luminaires are designed for general lighting of production premises, warehouses, open areas, streets, and can also be used for decorative lighting of buildings and architectural structures. The service life of LEDs is approximately 100,000 hours. · The anodized aluminum alloy housing design ensures efficient heat dissipation, minimum mass, high strength, and corrosion resistance. · Possibility of equipping with various types of diffusers. · The absence of mercury in the luminaire elements makes disposal simple and environmentally safe. · Eight types of mounting. · Protection against short circuits, voltage surges, and overheating. · Instant start-up of the luminaire and its reach to the set power, high indicators of illuminance, luminous intensity that does not change throughout the supply voltage range, high color rendering index providing better visibility and contrast, as well as the absence of the stroboscopic effect (flicker) make the luminaire indispensable in production. Construction The luminaire consists of an anodized aluminum housing that functions as a cooling radiator. The protective light-transmitting element is made of polycarbonate, which is heat-resistant, exceptionally strong, and has high light transmittance. Protection of the internal parts of the luminaire from mechanical damage, as well as from dust and moisture ingress, is ensured by the installation of end caps on the sides of the housing, as well as by using silicone sealing that maintains its elasticity for a long period of time. Silicone is resistant to both high and low temperatures (down to -70°C). LED strips are installed inside the luminaire. The power supply unit is located either inside the luminaire (for luminaires with power up to 60 W) or outside in a sealed housing. The luminaire is mounted on a flat surface, on a pole, on a cable, or is built into ceiling structures. Scope of delivery The luminaire is supplied complete with LED light sources, a chosen mounting type, and a 3-wire multi-stranded copper outdoor cable 3x0.75 mm2.
