ZONT ML-232 indoor two-position thermostat is designed to maintain a constant temperature in a specific heating zone. The target temperature value is entered manually or remotely via the ZONT service. It is an auxiliary device and operates only in conjunction with a ZONT controller. Connection to the main device is made via the RS-485 interface. Designed for indoor installation. The thermostat compares the target temperature with the temperature sensor reading and closes or opens the relay output contacts, thereby controlling the connected heating system actuator. It is equipped with a built-in NTC-10 room temperature sensor; an external NTC-10 temperature sensor in a thermowell is also included in the kit, which can be connected to the thermostat additionally for floor temperature measurement. The thermostat's relay output is low-current and cannot be used to directly control actuators such as heating elements, heaters, electric fireplaces, or pumps—controlling such devices is only possible through an additional power relay or contactor. The thermostat transmits the measured temperature information to the ZONT controller for monitoring or for use in regulating the operation of the heating system circuit. Up to 16 room thermostats can be connected to one ZONT thermostat or controller. Operation is supported on the following ZONT models: - SMART NEW heating thermostat; - H-1V NEW heating thermostat; - SMART 2.0 heating controller (PRO version, released from January 2022); - H-1V.02 heating controller (PRO version, released from January 2022); - H700+PRO universal controller; - H1000+ PRO universal controller; - H1500+PRO universal controller; - H2000+ PRO universal controller.
