It is designed for insulating cables, insulating cores, wire connection points, bundling wire harnesses, for mechanical protection of products, for protection against dirt, for color coding of products, etc. The main property of the heat-shrinkable tube is the ability to shrink under the influence of high temperature (from 90 to 125°C). The shrinkage process occurs very quickly, and the TUT tube completely follows the contours of the object. A heat gun (hairdryer) can be used, making the heat-shrinkable tube easy to use in household applications, for example, as an alternative to electrical tape.
