KURS type B forged axe is designed for chopping, splitting, and hewing wood. The head is made of forged steel 45 with a hardness of 47–58 HRC and is resistant to high impact loads. A hardening depth of 25 mm ensures high wear resistance. Blade sharpening increases efficiency and speed of work. The straight cutting edge is applicable for fine wood processing. Powder coating of the head prevents corrosion. The steel wedge firmly fixes the head to the handle. The handle is made of premium grade birch and coated with a polymer compound that protects against external factors.
