Galvanized steel wire rope DIN 3055 consists of six strands and an organic core. The rope construction is called 6*7, meaning it consists of 6 braided strands, each of which in turn is braided from 7 thin steel rods. The main application of the rope is installation work, suspension of ropes, fastening of cargo or structures, rigging, and guy wires. It is not recommended for lifting heavy loads. DIN 3055 wire rope possesses high tensile strength, good flexibility, and a low elongation coefficient. The galvanized coating significantly increases the service life of the rope, protecting it from the harmful effects of the environment.
