Heat-shrinkable tubing is intended for the restoration and creation of insulation, sealing of surfaces and electrical connections of cables, bundling and marking of wires, as well as for creating anti-corrosion protective coatings. 4:1 tubing features an increased shrinkage ratio and is used when connecting cables and wires with a medium difference in diameters. Heat-shrinkable tubing changes its diameter as a result of heating and takes the shape of the object or material onto which it is shrunk. A glue layer is applied along the entire length of the inner side of the tube. When heated, the glue melts and fills the voids, sealing and bonding the junction with the object of impact. The tube is non-flammable: in the absence of an open flame, it extinguishes and does not ignite. We recommend performing tubing shrinkage work using REXANT special electrical installation heat guns and gas torches. Warranty service life – 7 years. Warranty storage life – 7 years.
