Heat-shrinkable tubing is designed for restoring and creating insulation, sealing surfaces and electrical cable connections, bundling and marking wires, as well as creating anti-corrosion protective coatings. Heat-shrinkable tubing changes its diameter as a result of heating and takes the shape of the object or material being shrunk onto. An adhesive layer is applied along the entire length of the inner side of the tube. When heated, the glue melts and fills voids, sealing and bonding the junction with the object. The tube is flame retardant: in the absence of an open flame, it extinguishes and does not ignite. This provides additional safety in case of fire. We recommend performing tubing shrinkage using REXANT special electrical installation heat guns and gas torches. Warranty service life – 7 years. Warranty storage life – 7 years.
