Heat-shrinkable tubing is designed for the restoration and creation of insulation, sealing of surfaces and electrical connections of cables, binding and marking of wires, as well as for creating anti-corrosion protective coatings. 6:1 tubing features an increased shrinkage ratio and is used when connecting cables and wires with a very significant difference in diameters. Heat-shrinkable tubing changes its diameter as a result of heating and takes the shape of the object or material being shrunk. An adhesive layer is applied along the entire length of the inner side of the tube. When heated, the glue melts and fills voids, sealing and bonding the junction with the object. We recommend performing tubing shrinkage using REXANT special electrical installation heat guns and gas torches. Service life – 7 years. Storage life – 7 years.
