Heat-shrink tubing is designed for restoring and creating insulation, sealing surfaces and electrical cable connections, bundling and marking wires, as well as for creating anti-corrosion protective coatings. The 6:1 tubing features a high shrink ratio and is used when connecting cables and wires with very significant differences in diameters. Heat-shrink tubing changes its diameter as a result of heating and takes the shape of the object or material being shrunk. A glue layer is applied along the entire length of the inner side of the tube. When heated, the glue melts, fills voids, seals, and bonds the junction with the object. The tubing is flame retardant: it self-extinguishes and does not ignite in the absence of an open flame. We recommend performing tubing shrinkage using REXANT special electrical installation heat guns and gas torches. Service life warranty – 7 years. Storage warranty – 7 years.
