Product description and features
TTK 3:1 adhesive tubes are high-quality and popular heat-shrink adhesive tubes from "KVT" with a 3:1 shrink ratio for insulating and sealing electrical connections.
TK tubes are made of a special polyolefin composition with the addition of non-toxic flame retardants (except for transparent tubes), which give them pronounced non-flammability properties.
A characteristic and distinguishing feature of this type of tube is a layer of hot-melt adhesive uniformly applied to the entire inner surface of the tubes by the co-extrusion method, the presence of which ensures reliable sealing of any contact connections up to 1000V and provides additional mechanical strength after shrinkage. By melting and filling all micro-relief irregularities, the hot-melt adhesive turns the cable assembly into a monolithic, airtight structure.
The increased shrink ratio allows the use of TTK 3:1 heat-shrink tubes for installation on cables and splices with significant level differences or complex profiles while maintaining the flexibility and elasticity of the assembly.
After melting and cooling, the adhesive composition of the TTK tubes provides excellent adhesion to almost any surfaces and materials. However, before installation, during storage and transportation, the adhesion of the Savilen composite adhesive layer is minimal, which prevents the tubes from sticking together.
TTK adhesive heat-shrink tubes have high resistance to ultraviolet, weather conditions, and are approved for outdoor installation, in rooms with high humidity, as well as for installation directly in soil and concrete.
The recently introduced size range of non-flammable TTK (KVT) tubes in black has been supplemented with red and white tubes. This significantly increases their field of application, allowing the use of different colored tubes (e.g., red and black) for "phase-neutral" marking in battery chargers and other devices.
TTK 3:1 (KVT) heat-shrink tubes are supplied in 1-meter cuts in convenient packaging of 10 pieces and are presented in an optimal size range – from 3/1 to 50/17.
