Heat-shrinkable tubing is designed for restoring and creating insulation, sealing surfaces and electrical connections of cables, bundling and marking wires, as well as for creating anti-corrosion protective coatings. Heat-shrinkable tubing changes its diameter as a result of heating and takes the shape of the object or material being shrunk onto. An adhesive layer is applied along the entire length of the inner side of the tube. When heated, the glue melts and fills voids, sealing and bonding the junction with the object. The tube is flame retardant: it extinguishes and does not ignite in the absence of an open flame. We recommend performing tubing shrinkage using REXANT special electrical installation heat guns and gas torches. Service life warranty – 7 years. Storage warranty – 7 years. No marking on the tube itself.
