TTUk heat-shrink tubes with an adhesive layer are two-layer products with a 3:1 shrink ratio, manufactured by extrusion from radiation-crosslinked polyolefin. The inner surface of the tubes is coated with a layer of thermoplastic adhesive based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. When heated, the tube shrinks uniformly by 3 times, and the adhesive layer melts, filling all irregularities and ensuring a hermetic bond with the surface. After hardening, the adhesive provides additional mechanical strength to the connection. The tubes are suitable for use both indoors in high humidity and outdoors. Installation in soil and concrete is permitted, making them a universal solution for various insulation and protection tasks. Thanks to the increased shrink ratio and the presence of an adhesive layer, the tubes provide reliable fixation and protection even in difficult operating conditions.
