Guide (support) angles are designed for installation in a cabinet or rack for heavy equipment or servers; these angles either fully take the entire load themselves if it is not possible to secure the equipment to 19" mounting profiles, or perform an additional supporting function if the equipment is mounted on mounting profiles. Additionally, due to their design, the angles do not obstruct hot air being exhausted from the equipment and contribute to better cooling. Guide angles are made of 2 mm thick steel and are fixed to the front and rear 19" mounting profiles on the side during installation, without occupying useful height.
