High voltage indicator UVN-220E is designed to check the presence or absence of voltage on overhead power lines and other AC electrical installations with a voltage of 220kV and a frequency of 50 Hz. The UVN-220E indicator is classified as a primary electrical protective device, allowing for phase-by-phase voltage determination by touching live parts. The indicator operates without the use of a grounding wire. The operating principle is based on converting electrical signals into light signals. The indicator's indication elements are located inside a shade, the design of which allows for the amplification of the light signal through its directional propagation. The indicator has a self-test functionality. Reliable operation is achieved by using microchips and components from leading global manufacturers in the indicator's electrical circuit, as well as a CR-2354 lithium power source with a voltage of 3V and a capacity of 550 mAh. The low operating current of 4 mA in signaling mode allows the indicator to be used without replacing the power element throughout its entire service life of 10 years. The working part of the indicator is made of ABC plastic, ensuring the normal functioning of electronic elements throughout the entire service life. The insulating part is made of PVC, providing reliable insulation.
