The UVN-330E SZ high voltage indicator is designed to check the presence or absence of voltage on overhead power lines and other AC electrical installations with a voltage of 330 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz. The UVN-330E SZ indicator is one of the primary electrical protective devices; it allows for phase-by-phase voltage determination by touching the live parts. The indicator operates without the use of a grounding wire. The principle of operation is based on converting electrical signals into light and sound signals. The light and sound indication elements of the indicator are located inside a shade, the design of which allows for the amplification of the light and sound signal through its directional propagation. The indicator has a self-test function. Reliable operation is achieved by using microchips and components from leading global manufacturers in the indicator's electrical circuit, as well as a CR-123 lithium power source with 3V and 1500 mAh capacity. The low operating current – 17 mA in signaling mode – allows the indicator to be used without replacing the battery for its entire service life – 10 years. Total assembly length of the indicator is 4070 mm. The working part of the indicator is made of ABS plastic, ensuring the normal functioning of electronic components throughout the entire service life. The insulating part is made of fiberglass, providing reliable insulation.
