High voltage indicator UVN-80E M is designed to check the presence or absence of voltage on overhead power lines and other AC electrical installations with a voltage of 6-10kV of industrial frequency. The operating principle of the voltage indicator is based on converting electrical signals into light signals. The UVN-80E M indicator belongs to the primary electrical protective equipment. It allows for phase-by-phase voltage determination by touching live parts. The indicator works reliably from wooden poles without the use of a grounding wire, and when used in a kit with an operating insulating rod type SHO-10E-4-7.0, length 7.0 m, it allows for determining dangerous voltage from the ground surface without climbing the overhead line pole. The indicator features bright pulsed LED indication. The indicator's indication elements are located inside a shade, the design of which allows for amplifying the light signal through its directional propagation. Reliable operation of the indicator is achieved by using microchips and components from leading global manufacturers in its electrical circuit, as well as a CR-2354 lithium power source with a voltage of 3V and a capacity of 550 mAh. The low current consumption in signaling mode allows the indicator to be used without replacing the power element throughout its entire service life - 10 years. The working part of the indicator is made of ABS plastic, ensuring normal functioning of the electronic elements throughout the entire service life. The insulating part is made of PVC plastic, providing reliable insulation. The operating rod SHO-10E-4-6.6 is supplied upon agreement with the customer for an additional fee. The rod length (in the working position) is 6.6 m, weight – 3.5 kg.
