High voltage indicator UVNU-10-2M is designed to check the presence or absence of voltage on overhead power lines and other AC electrical installations with a voltage of 6-10kV at industrial frequency. The operating principle of the voltage indicator is based on the conversion of electrical signals into light signals. The UVNU-10-2M indicator is one of the primary electrical protective equipment. It allows for phase-by-phase voltage determination by touching live parts. The indicator works reliably from wooden poles without the use of a grounding wire, and when used with an operating insulating rod type SHO-10E-4-7.0 with a length of 7.0m, it allows determining dangerous voltage from the ground surface without climbing the overhead line pole. The indicator features bright pulsed LED indication. The indicator's indication elements are located inside a shade, the design of which allows for signal amplification through directional propagation. The indicator has a self-test function for operability before use. Reliable operation of the indicator is achieved by using microchips and components from leading world manufacturers in its electrical circuit, as well as a CR-2354 lithium power source with 3V voltage and 550 mAh capacity. The low current consumption in signaling mode allows the indicator to be used without replacing the battery element throughout its entire service life - 10 years. The working part of the indicator is made of ABS plastic, ensuring normal functioning of the electronic elements throughout the entire service life. The insulating part is made of PVC plastic, ensuring reliable insulation. The SHO-10E-4-7.0 operating rod is supplied upon customer agreement for an additional fee. Rod length (in working position) is 7.0 m, weight – 3.5 kg.
