Cable penetration seals are designed for sealing asbestos-cement, polymer, and steel pipes used as cable entries in buildings, underground passages, and cable crossings under road surfaces. They are resistant to ultraviolet radiation and weather conditions. Thanks to the presence of mastic sealants, UKPT kits can be used for both single and group cable installation. A layer of thermoplastic adhesive is applied to the surface of the heat-shrinkable sleeves. During shrinkage, the adhesive layer melts, fills all micro-relief irregularities, and ensures complete sealing of the connections.
