SFC ONI Soft Starters (SS) are flagship devices in the ONI SS line with a built-in bypass contactor. They are used for the soft starting and stopping of squirrel-cage induction motors by gradually increasing the voltage on the motor stator. SFC ONI SS are equipped with all the necessary functions for efficient control and protection of electric motors and allow for a significant reduction in energy consumption and increased equipment service life. The power part of the SS is made of thyristors installed on each phase; the device control system is digital using an external full-text Russian-language LCD panel. The presence of a built-in bypass for the entire operating power range allows to significantly extend the service life of the SS and effectively dissipate the heat generated, as well as save space in the control cabinet compared to devices with an external bypass.
