Designed to protect people from electric shock when touching exposed wiring or electrical equipment that has become energized, and to prevent fires caused by prolonged leakage currents and resulting short-circuit currents. To protect consumers from overload and short-circuit currents, the RCD must be used in conjunction with circuit breakers. Capability to operate at - 25 °C. Selective version available.
