Soft starter 25A-01 is designed for switching self-regulating heating cables without the need for high-power contactors and redundant protective automation. This is achieved by limiting inrush currents to the rated level. Soft starter 25A-01 is intended for installation in a control cabinet. The device housing is mounted on a DIN rail. Soft starting of the self-regulating cable is provided by the operation of a semiconductor switch that forms the basis of the device. The cable startup time is 10 – 20 minutes depending on the switched load and the temperature of the device. Maximum load current – 25 A.
