The OptiDin AFDD-63 arc fault detection device is an arc fault detection unit designed for use in single-phase AC electrical networks with a frequency of 50/60 Hz, a solidly grounded neutral, a rated voltage not exceeding 230 V, and rated currents from 1 A to 63 A. The following can be connected to the AFDD via a latch: two-pole circuit breaker of the OptiDin BM63 6kA...25kA series, AFDD of the OptiDin D63 6 kA series, two-pole load break switch OptiDin BM63P. The AFDD detects an arc fault in the protected circuit, followed by the disconnection of the device connected to the AFDD, expanding its functional capabilities.
