Designed to protect industrial automation equipment, digital data transmission interfaces (TTY, RS-485, RS-422, current loop 0-20 mA) and analog data transmission interfaces (current loop 4-20 mA), including protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Fieldbus, HART, etc., signal lines of control and measurement systems, 24 V power supplies of programmable logic controllers. Installed within 0A(V)-2 lightning protection zones in accordance with GOST IEC 61643-22-2022. Used in explosive gas environments of hazardous indoor areas and outdoor installations according to explosion protection markings 0Ex ia IIC T6 Ga. Devices connected to the SPD must have intrinsically safe electrical circuits according to GOST 31610.11-2014 (IEC 60079-0-2011) and intrinsically safe parameters (intrinsically safe electrical circuit level and equipment subgroup) corresponding to the conditions of equipment use in the hazardous zone.
