VR32U EKF MAXima (universal) disconnect switches are designed for manual switching of AC circuits with a rated voltage of up to 690V at a frequency of 50Hz. The design features a 3-pole knife-type contact system with double visible circuit separation. The double circuit separation, large contact gaps, and arc chutes ensure effective electric arc quenching during load switching, which prevents premature and excessive contact wear.
