AV-6 DC and AV-10 DC series AVERES circuit breakers are mechanical switching devices used for rapid switching in DC electrical networks, as well as protection against overload and short-circuit currents in residential and public buildings. The circuit breakers comply with GOST IEC 60947-2. A key feature of this series of circuit breakers is the advanced design. The circuit breakers feature an instantaneous switching mechanism. Thanks to this mechanism, the power contacts close instantaneously, regardless of the speed of the circuit breaker lever operation. This ensures less contact wear and, consequently, lower thermal losses in the contact group and lower heat dissipation of the AV-6 DC and AV-10 DC series AVERES circuit breakers.
