VA-99S switch is designed as a monoblock and consists of a base and a cover with a false panel, which includes a window for the operating handle and a "Test" button plunger for checking the switch trip mechanism. The base is made of heat-resistant, non-flammable plastic and serves as the load-bearing structure for the connection terminals; the rotary contact block with two arc chutes is a rigid assembly in a separate housing, the control mechanism, and the overcurrent and overload protection unit (trip unit). The cover covers all moving elements of the control mechanism and internal live parts.
