Switches are designed for conducting current in normal mode and disconnecting current during short circuits, overloads, and impermissible voltage drops, as well as for infrequent (up to 6 per day) operational switching on and off of electrical circuits and are designed for operation in electrical installations with a nominal voltage of up to 660 V AC at a frequency of 50 and 60 Hz and up to 440 V DC.
