MSD switch-disconnector rated at 40 A is used for switching power electrical circuits of resistive, inductive, or mixed loads, and can be used for starting and stopping motors of application categories AC–3 and DC–3. It can be used as a main or emergency switch-disconnector. 4-pole version with a red external rotary handle featuring padlock lockout capability, mounting on DIN rail or a mounting plate on the rear panel of a cabinet. Shaft length included is 32-150 mm.
