Thermal water curtain BALLU BHC-U15W40-PS with a maximum capacity of 4500 m3/h and an installation height of up to 6 meters, is used to protect rooms with high humidity and pollution levels from the penetration of cold air. High degree of protection for electrical components (IP54) is ensured at the factory, which is why no additional work for sealing electrical connections is required during installation. As a heating element, a water-hammer-resistant heat exchanger with increased fin pitch is used, which significantly reduces the clogging rate of the curtain and increases the intervals between maintenance services. The unique Quicklock nozzle mounting system, consisting of hinges and quick-release fasteners, provides easy access to the heat exchanger for rapid cleaning without the need to dismantle the curtain or its individual elements. The unsurpassed reliability of the curtain is provided by external rotor motors with a service life (MTBF) of 30,000 hours and a heat exchanger with a maximum operating pressure of up to 16 atmospheres at a coolant temperature of 150°C. The swivel nozzle allows changing the air stream angle within a range of ±15 to ensure better room protection even during strong gusts of wind directed perpendicular to the plane of the opening.
