"Crocodile" clip is an electromechanical device designed for the rapid connection or disconnection of wire contacts during measurement work or when installing electrical and low-current networks. The clip consists of two serrated parts fastened together in the middle by a special pin, which can rotate around the connection axis at a certain angle. A contact wire is mounted to one of the parts. Compression of the parts is provided by a spring inserted on the other side of the pin. The contact part of the clip is made of nickel-plated steel.
