Crocodile clip is an electromechanical device designed for rapid connection or disconnection of wire contacts during measurement work or during the installation of electrical and low-current networks. The clip consists of two toothed parts, which are fastened in the middle by a special pin and can rotate around the connection axis at a certain angle. A contact wire is mounted to one of the parts. The compression of the parts is provided by a spring inserted on the other side of the pin. The contact part of the clip is made of nickel-plated steel.
