REXANT 500A 200mm welding "crocodile" clamp is an electromechanical device designed for rapid connection or disconnection of wire contacts during welding, measurement, or installation of electrical and low-current networks. The clamp got its name due to its similarity to crocodile jaws. It consists of two shaped parts with "crocodile" teeth, joined in the middle by a special pin and capable of rotating by a certain angle around the connection axis. A contact wire is mounted to one of the parts. The compression of the "jaws" is provided by a spring inserted on the other side of the pin. The clamp is made of steel with nickel plating.
